Le Forum économique mondial ou FEM (en anglais : World Economic Forum, abrégé WEF), souvent appelé Forum de Davos [1], [2], est une fondation à but non lucratif et organisation de lobbying créée en 1971 par Klaus Schwab, d'abord sous le nom de « Symposium européen du management » avant de prendre son nom actuel en 1987.
Davos (prononcé en allemand: [3], walser dialecte local : Tafaas [ta'fas], romanche : Tavau, italien : Tavate, désuet) est une commune du canton des Grisons, située dans la haute vallée de la rivière Landwasser dans la région de Prättigau/Davos, dans l'est de la Suisse.
