Richard Totten Button (born July 18, 1929) is an American former figure skater and skating analyst. He was a two-time Olympic champion (1948, 1952) and five-time consecutive World champion (1948–1952).

Dick Button is a figure skater who dominated American and international amateur competition in the late 1940s and early 1950s until he became a professional in 1952. He was the only man to win top honours in the Olympic, World, European, North American, and U.S. national competitions, and in 1948.
Dick Button won the U.S. men’s title from 1946 through 1952, the world title from 1948 until 1952, and two Olympic gold medals. In 1948 he became the first American to win the European championship, and it was promptly changed to a closed event.
