Anaïs Nin. Writer: Henry & June. Anaïs Nin was born February 21, 1903 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, a suburb of Paris, France. She moved to the United States in 1914 with her mother, singer Rosa Culmell and two brothers, Thorvald and Joaquin.

This letter was the first entry in what became her diary–an idealized picture of her life over which she labored for 63 years, a series of books that eventually made her famous.

Elle doit sa notoriété à la publication de journaux intimes qui s'étalent sur plusieurs décennies et offrant une vision profonde de sa vie privée et de ses relations.
Dans ce premier entretien enregistré en 1969 à l'occasion de la publication de son Journal (1931-1934), Anaïs Nin explique au micro de Pierre Lhoste comment elle raconte l'intime. L'occasion pour elle de revenir sur la petite fille "littéraire" qu'elle était ainsi que sur sa relation avec Henry Miller, au centre de son livre.
