Gabriel García Márquez, né le 6 mars 1927 à Aracataca et mort le 17 avril 2014 (à 87 ans) à Mexico, est un écrivain colombien. Romancier, nouvelliste, mais également journaliste et militant politique, il reçoit en 1982 le prix Nobel de littérature.
