It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter of introduction as the newly selected Principal of Van Nuys High School. VNHS is known to have long-standing traditions of excellence and is widely recognized as a school of excellence, and I believe this is due to a constant dedication and united focus on meeting the needs of all students.
In 2020, Van Nuys High School was named to the “Top 20” National Magnet School of Excellence by Magnet Schools of America, the national association for magnet and theme-based schools. To receive a national merit award, members of Magnet Schools of America must submit a detailed application that is scored by a trained panel of readers.
