  5. A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or above is required to be considered for admission. Each candidate is evaluated individually; consideration is based on dramatic ability or potential, academic qualifications, and readiness in terms of maturity and motivation to benefit from the program.

  7. 25 oct. 2023 · The American Academy of Dramatic Arts was founded in 1884 by Franklin Haven Sargent, a Harvard professor of speech and elocution. The acting school was reportedly the first of its kind in the English-speaking world and made its debut at the Lyceum Theatre , then located on Fourth Avenue, now known as Park Avenue South, between 23rd and 24th Streets.
