Our Mission. At Sarah Lawrence College our mission is to graduate world citizens who are diverse in every definition of the word, who take intellectual and creative risks, who cross disciplinary boundaries, and who are able to sustain exceptional academic discipline within a framework of humanistic values and concern for community.
At Sarah Lawrence, 90 percent of classes are small, round-table seminars—all taught directly by faculty. Every semester, for each of your seminar classes, you will complete conference work: an in-depth, individual project developed in collaboration with faculty during bi-weekly, one-on-one meetings.

Sarah Lawrence held its Commencement ceremony on May 10. The college will assess late payment fees, compounded annually, equal to 1% of the past due balance or $10, whichever is greater, on any balance that is not paid by the due date each month. The College reserves the right to withhold degrees, diplomas, grades, and/or recommendations until all charges are paid in full.
MySLC is the primary source of information and online services for the Sarah Lawrence College community. Through MySLC, students can: Get course catalogues/schedules, attend online interviews for courses, and register for classes.
