Most classes are designed to accommodate beginner and advanced students alike.
The Art Students League of New York is America’s signature art school, run by artists for artists. Founded in 1875, it has nurtured students like Jackson Pollock and Georgia O’Keefe. Today, more than 2,500 students of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels study there each month.
Our workshops meet in-person at The League's studios on 57th Street, and sometimes in locations around New York City. Taught by the same renowned instructors who teach our legendary monthly classes, The League's workshops allow students to devote a week, or even just a weekend, to a special topic or technique.
