Mac and Monica want to add an element of sexual intrigue to their marriage so they begin picking up men and playing games with them. Monica gets to add a little spice to her life, while Mac can fulfill his voyeuristic desires. But when they make their indecent proposal to the wrong man, everything changes, and Mac and Monica find they may pay for their desires with their marriage.

16 avr. 2020 · All of this may suggest fruitful ground but The Price of Desire is dramatically inert, dead in the water. It was undoubtedly a sincere attempt at serious cinema but the players – Orla Brady as Gray, Vincent Perez as Le Corbusier and Francesco Scianna as Badovici with Dominique Pinon lurking in the background as Fernand Léger – are at a disadvantage.
The Price of Desire was the opening film of this year's Dublin International Film Festival. And it took every ounce of my strength not to walk out of this 'gala event'. I haven't been so angry at a film in a long time. I was actually sitting in the cinema, shaking with anger with how badly put-together the film was.
THE PRICE OF DESIRE erzählt von den Emotionen zweier Menschen, die für ihre Werke gelebt haben. Im Fall von E.1027 ein Gesamtkunstwerk, das uns -- wie die Anerkennung der Urheberschaft -- knapp erhalten blieb.
