Der Honigdachs (Mellivora capensis), auch Ratel genannt, ist eine in Afrika und Asien lebende Raubtierart aus der Familie der Marder (Mustelidae). Trotz seines Namens wird er nicht zu den Dachsen im eigentlichen Sinn (Melinae) gezählt, sondern in einer eigenen Unterfamilie, Mellivorinae, geführt.
