23 juil. 2021 · Classic Banana Split. Rumor has it that the banana split was created by David Strickler, who enjoyed inventing sundaes at Tassell Pharmacy’s soda fountain in Latrobe, Pennsylvania in 1904. It was obviously a hit because the banana split is still a VERY popular dessert today.

29 mai 2024 · For a classic banana split, it works best to cut the banana lengthwise (the long way). Place the peeled banana on a cutting board and use a knife to cut sidewise, down the center, along the length of the banana. If your banana breaks, don’t worry! You can cut it into slices instead. (It’s easier to eat this way, too!)
