The USC Thornton School of Music prepares students for successful careers in the 21st century, drawing upon an unparalleled history of artistry and scholarship established alongside the City of Angels.
The only programs with different application deadlines are “Arts Leadership” and “Popular Music Teaching and Learning” (May 1 final application deadline) and all Thornton minors (October 1, 2023 and March 1, 2024). Application deadlines for other processes are noted below.

The Community Music School (CMS) provides accessible music education to children and youth in the GTA. Founded in 1980 and operating out of Humber’s Lakeshore Campus, the School offers weekly private lessons and small-group classes to children and youth of all musical experience levels.
