Dawson (en forme longue officielle, la Cité de Dawson [1], [2] ; en anglais : Dawson City) est un village [1] situé dans le territoire du Yukon, au Canada. Fondée au tournant du XX e siècle, la ville a une histoire intimement liée à la ruée vers l'or du Klondike .

Dawson City, officially the City of Dawson, is a city in the Canadian territory of Yukon. It is inseparably linked to the Klondike Gold Rush (1896–1899). Its population was 1,577 as of the 2021 census , [6] making it the second-largest city in Yukon.
Dawson City est une ville qui mélange art, culture, nature sauvage et histoire, dotée d’une population assez éclectique. Les principales sources économiques de Dawson City sont le tourisme et les mines d’or. On compte d’ailleurs environ 80 petites mines familiales encore en exploitation au Klondike.
Visites à pied par des interprètes en costumes d’époque, promenade dans des bateaux à aubes sur le fleuve Yuko ou spectacles dans le plus ancien casino au Canada… Dawson est toujours en effervescence.
